• No chips, cracks, crazing, scratches, discolouration, or staining
• No wearing on the pattern, there seems to be one tiny spot of wearing on the hat although this is not a scratch, and may be part of the pattern
• Bottom marked "Goebel, W. Germany" in blue
• Bottom also has small initials in black, and is stamped with numbers 16, 280, 21, 75
• White highlights in the photos are reflections only

This lovely figurine is dressed in the ffashion of 1928, made by Goebel of Germany. It looks elegant displayed alone or as part of a collection. "Cosmopolitan #280" is part of the series Fashion on Parade, a series of figurines in period costume, produced by Goebel in the 1980s. They were discontinued in 1988, and as a result these figurines are becoming hard to find.

This is a perfect gift for the figurine collector, or for the collector of art deco objects.

Goebel is the maker of the popular Hummel figurines, and has been producing fine porcelain since 1871.
