• Excellent condition
• Shows just normal wear, gentle care, was polished gently over the years, and is nicely polished now.
• Hallmarks stamped on underside are "Sterling", the lion passant, "R", "925". In addition to these hallmarks, some of the spoons available also have a lion's head in profile within a C signifying Canadian.
• No bends, dents, or pits

This spoon was made by Roden Bros. Ltd. in the Louis XV Pattern. It has a rich glow known as a patina. The patina on sterling silver is developed over the years from gentle polishing and use, enhancing its beauty. The Louis XV pattern is highly collectable and elegant. The Roden Louis XV pattern co-ordinates well with the Birks Louis XV.

Roden Bros. was founded in 1891 in Toronto and actively operated until 1958 when it was purchased by Henry Birks and Sons, Canada's internationally known silversmiths and jewellers.
