This beautiful John & William Ridgway stone potteries stone china plate, decorated with a floral blue and white design, was made between 1814 and 1830.
It is in excellent condition given the age with no crazing, or cracks. There is a tiny chip on the back of the plate that is not noticeable without close inspection. Because of the age, there is some, although very little, wearing in the blue border. The blue floral design shows no wear. There are surface scratches from use on the surface of the plate and a few tiny bumps which were probably made at the time of manufacture.
The plate is 9 3/4" across and 10 3/8" from corner to corner.
"Stone China J & W R" is on the back.
This is a beautiful antique worthy of being prominantly displayed on a mantle.
